Our Journey with Raspberry Pi
Our Journey with Raspberry Pi began eight years ago when we needed some way of to implement capacity utilization rate system for factory machines. The project involved electricity work, database management, wireless technologies, coding knowledge, IoT design etc. and of course familiarizing with this new and amazing Raspberry Pi computer. It was all put together into a single Raspberry Pi with version 1 at that time, the project was later moved to 2nd version after few years due to performance increase.
Here’s the prototype after few weeks of R&D-work in the year 2013. There’s wireless connection to the factory machines, all capacity information is put into a database and reports can be created with separate user interface.
The project was spot on and we noticed how versatile and flexible Raspberry Pi with its peripherals can be and lead to another project. Here we are after almost ten years of experience and with tens of trial & errors with the Raspberry Pi i.e. learning by doing. This has lead to a first battery powered Raspberry Pi in the world (at least it was during that time). Let us introduce the Handlet™ and start digging into its fine-grained philosophy.
Handlet was designed from scratch with true professionals with years of experience. Not even single compromise was made. Let’s take the Raspberry Pi to the next level together.
Let us introduce the Handlet™
As already mentioned the Handlet™ is a battery powered Rasperry Pi. There wasn’t one on the market at the time when the development started. The example project described at the beginning would have been even more successful with this kind of product at hands, there wouldn’t have been need to invent things from scratch. It is equipped with many problem solving solutions we’ve come up during years of experience on the field:

You can utilize it as a case cover for your own project where you equip it yourself as you like or get a fully assembled package. This also makes the product especially good for educational purposes.
